About Beka

Always
creating.

Rebekah Ann Johnson—Beka—is an artist whose creative practice extends into art education and yoga.

Alongside her own artwork, she helps others find their creative voice. At Parish Episcopal School, she teaches Upper School Art and guides students as they bring their ideas to life.

Her background includes co-founding Piranha Bear Art Collective, curating exhibitions, and leading art experiences beyond the classroom.

2025Collaborative installation

SPARK! Dallas × Meow Wolf Grapevine

Parish students created an immersive blue environment for the SPARK! Prismatic: Fantastical Realms exhibition, with Beka supporting their work from concept to installation.

Sculpture, storytelling, and a lot of problem-solving came together in a space the public could step inside.
